Traffic Equalizer Review
Several months ago, I churned out Traffic Equalizer sites in volume.
Some sites got de-indexed by Google within weeks. One site--within days.
Many others are still going strong. As you may know, search engine optimization involves much more than creating
websites and sending them out. Two important things are to get backlinks
(other sites linking to yours) and keep adding and freshening up the content on
your sites.
Set It and Forget It
I did none of this. I got no backlinks. I did not add
content or freshen it up.
I did nothing. I sent the sites out and forgot them.
I did no additional work, yet the sites are still making money.
Here's a random one-month pick for one of my many sites:

It's nice to sit down to your morning coffee, fire up your AdSense account,
and see where you made money from a site you can't even remember creating a few
months ago.
Because I've been happy to "set it and forget it," my revenues are less a
stream than a trickle. If you were to go all out and SEO-ize your Traffic
Equalizer sites to the hilt--backlinks, fresh content, etc.--you could expect
higher revenues than me. But you still can expect sites to get
de-indexed.
Smooth Interface
Even if you're not familiar with the idea of automatically generated pages,
you'll learn pretty quickly. You fire up Traffic Equalizer and it takes
you step by step through the process. Start with a test list of about 30
keywords and run them through Traffic Equalizer, from beginning to end.
Use the supplied templates for now. Toggle different options and see how
the program responds. Run your test list just to see how the thing works.
That's the best way to learn. The instruction manual is decent, but best
way to learn is by doing.

Slow Keyword Generator
You'll want to come prepared with your own list of keywords rather than
relying on Traffic Equalizer's keyword generator. That internal keyword
generator is balky and slow and just not a pleasure to use. Use Keyword
Elite, DigitalPoint's generator, WordTracker, or any other free generators out
there. If you're got an AdWords account, they've got a decent--though not
great--keyword generator (but you can't download the words).
Shaky Customer Support; No Updates
Though I can't honestly back up this claim with personal experience, because
I've never contacted customer support, my assumption is that Jeff Alderson had
basically abandoned Traffic Equalizer. Sure, he still sells it and he's
happy to have affiliates sell it. I also base my assumption on the idea
that there used to be a user forum, but that was later abandoned. Finally,
in all the time that I've owned Traffic
Equalizer, I have never seen an update. Keep in mind, though, that it's
really impossible for Alderson to update the program because other models of
traffic generation are more successful.
Bottom Line
Traffic Equalizer has paid for itself many times over and made me a profit.
It is a steady income stream and I do nothing additional to maintain that income
stream. Bear in mind that you need to create sites in volume.
However, if you are serious SEO--either whitehat or blackhat--you'll want to
look elsewhere.

How Much Money Can You Make with Traffic Equalizer?
Well, how long is a piece of string? That classic question
applies to Traffic Equalizer revenues as well. We want to give you solid
numbers, and we've given you some figures below. In days past, people made
huge profits from Traffic Equalizer; those days are gone. Your profit
potential depends on how many sites you produce and how well you
monetize those pages.
Potential of Traffic Equalizer Revenues
Because our Traffic Equalizer revenues are based on AdSense, which
subsequently are SmartPriced, for some sites it's just a trickle per day.
So, we look at the broader picture: per week, per month, or all time.
Low-End Revenues
I like this example. One site made a grand total of $1.00 over a few
weeks until I killed it. Notice it's sandwiched between two other sites
that did worse. I show you this example to sober you up.

Mid- to Upper-End Revenues
This is more like it. Over a few months, this site has made $239.64.
Not shabby. It's pulled in close to 2,500 impressions, with a clickthrough
rate of 33.12%.

That means that for every 3 visitors to my site, 1 visitor clicked on an ad.
That's pretty good. Now, keep in mind that CTR has nothing to do with
Traffic Equalizer; it's based on how well you design the landing pages.
Again, some low-performing sites in there. For every few misses, you get a
hit.
